The role of Renewals Administrator is an important function within the lettings team. You will be responsible for ensuring all new tenancies and renewals are processed smoothly & efficiently, liaising with both landlords and tenants along the way. You willalso be responsible for ensuring all associated tenancy documents are drafted & executed correctly.
- Overseeing tenancy renewals by liaising with tenants & landlords in a timely manner.
- Negotiating rents by liaising with the Lettings Manager to keep up-to-date with the rental price changes in the local market.
- Negotiating terms of the lease with tenants & landlords.
- Drafting renewal paperwork.
- Coordinating change of tenancies and send the required paperwork such as Deed of Assignment, Deed of Surrenders, tenancy amendments etc.
- Amending deposits.
- Maintaining records of renewal status.
- Serving notices to quit or to increase rent on behalf of clients (i.e. Section 8, Section 21)
- Keeping up-to-date with current legislation relating to the lettings industry.
To be considered for this role you should have a minimum of 1 years' experience of handling tenancy renewals and drafting tenancy agreements.
You will be a bright & motivated individual with high professional standards. Organisational skills are key, as well as having he ability to multitask & prioritise effectively while working in a busy environment.
