Senior Procurement Information Officer - Lancashire County Council
We are looking for a **Senior Procurement Information Officer **will be based at:
To assist the PIM Coordinator to support the Purchase to Pay systems, databases and the supporting master data ensuring the purchase to pay business requirements of Lancashire Procurement Service and support systems are up to date and fit for purpose, managed effectively and data integrity is maintained and secure.
To support PIM Coordinator manage databases and systems development where appropriate to enhance data quality and ensure they are current and reflective of suppliers with agreed contracts and making sure relevant contract information is up to date and fit for purpose.
To monitor performance management data and lead on provision of all management information, data and reporting on behalf of Lancashire Procurement Service, interpreting complex management and financial information such as usage, procurement savings, Key Performance Indicators reporting and consolidation of annual procurement plan.
To support PIM Manager and PIM Coordinator ensuring adherence to legislative compliance and
relevant standards.
To be a reference contact for Lancashire Procurement Service and advise on a range of complex issues relating to suppliers, contracts and catalogues within the Source to Pay systems. Acting as the first source of information or point of escalation for operational issues identified by Procurement Information Officers.
To be the reference contact for procurement related reporting.
To lead on the management of supplier and contract management data.
To lead on reporting for Procurement
To supervise and manage staff where appropriate.
To manage the capture of contractual information on goods, services or works onto electronic Catalogues, Frameworks, Schedules or otherwise and ensure they are available to those that commission, procure or requisition.
To ensure data is accurate, timely and information can be comprehensively extracted from approved Purchase to Pay systems for the furtherance of the category management processes.
To regularly meet with County Council representatives on procurement activities as required.
