Senior Procurement Officer required to join a public sector organisation on a full time temporary basis. My client is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual who is an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join their dynamic and fastmoving finance function.

As the Senior Procurement Officer you will help to ensure that the organisation achieves value for money in all areas of supplier spends, alongside the various duties below;
**Key responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Officer**
- Provide support to suppliers via telephone
- Set suppliers up on the online procurement system
- Deal with requests for amendments to bank details
- Provide regular reporting on procurement activity across the organisation
- Support with tendering processes and management of the organisations frameworks and purchasing system
- Ensure supplier communication is carried out in line with procurement policy and regulations

**Required skills and experience of the Senior Procurement Officer**
- Ability to follow validation procedures
- Previous procurement experience
- Experience of managing contracts
- Strong IT skills including eTendering platforms
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- High level of organisational skills
- High level of analytical skills
