Service Centre Supervisor

**SUMMARY OF ROLE**:
Responsible for the efficient and effective scheduling and delivery of bottled water activities to all customers within the Malton Service Centre in York. Working in partnership with their Service Centre Manager and Central Distribution, this role is accountable for ensuring the right resources are in place to deliver the right service within agreed business targets.

**CORE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the timely, effective and efficient scheduling and delivery of bottled water activities, including servicing, to customers within their Service Centre region
- Meeting agreed business plan, customer satisfaction and Service Centre technical output targets
- Effective Resource Management
- Support the Service Centre Manager in recruiting, leading, engaging and managing the Service Centre team
- Support the Service Centre Manager and Technical Training & Quality Manager in developing and growing the skills and capabilities of your Service Centre team
- Responsible for close working relationships between the Customer and the necessary operational and support teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of scheduled activities and management of stock / inventory
- Support the Service Centre Manager in ensuring Service Centre teams are accurately updating all relevant systems
- Support the Service Centre Manager in ensuring Service Centre teams governance and adherence to procedures and compliance with company policy and best practice - including, but not limited to, any external audit requirements
- Support the Service Centre Manager in ensuring Service Centre teams compliance with the end to end Field Operations processes, policies and procedures
- Responsible for compliance with Data Protection Regulations & Company Policies & procedures
- Promotes innovative ways to add value within the team

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Demonstrate excellent geographic knowledge of Malton area and surrounding region
- Demonstrate strong ability to plan and schedule operational resources
- Demonstrate ability to handle a range of diverse and competing priorities
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills
- A proven track record of providing customer service
- Full and valid driving license with a maximum of 3 points (none of which are for dangerous or careless driving)
- Minimum of 3 years' driving experience
- Demonstrate competence in using Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety in operational roles
- Demonstrate strong ability to consistently achieve targets

**_Desirable: _**
- Valid license to drive a Fork Lift Truck and a 7.5T vehicle
- Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualification and digital tachograph card or training provided
- Ability to resolve challenging situations in a clear, empathetic, conciliatory manner
- Knowledge and demonstrate skills in utilising a CRM and scheduling systems effectively

This role requires an element of heavy lifting, supported by manual handling training
You may be required to work additional hours to meet seasonal demand

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
