Do you have a passion for and experience of delivering high quality services to the public, experience of working with volunteers, an understanding of people management, and good IT knowledge.
In your role as Library Supervisor, you will lead a team of staff and volunteers at Malton library and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of library services.
In your role as Community Library Support Officer at Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside libraries, your role will be to support the Charitable Group of trustees and volunteers to deliver high quality customer-focused library services.
Key duties will involve:
- Stock management
- Supporting the delivery of IT services
- Managing and supporting staff and volunteers
- Being the link between the Volunteer Charitable groups and the Library Service
- Planning and delivery of a programme of events and activities
The successful applicant will be a good communicator and problem solver, able to motivate a team, build strong links with the community and develop positive relationships with volunteers and partners.
Based at Malton library you will need to be flexible with your working hours and be available for weekends and evenings.
