Bar Supervisor

**PIZZA ON THE SQUARE - MALTON**

This is an exciting new concept located in the Old Town Hall building in the centre of Malton. Following a mini refurb, this iconic, grade two listed building is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a great cup of coffee. With clear views of the market place and surrounding areas, this is the ideal place to relax and people watch.

We are looking to build a brand-new team to help us in the successful launch of our new venture. We want to combine great food, excellent service and award-winning beverages to build a great reputation and establish our position as the “go to” place in Malton.

**Front of House Supervisors**

The key purpose of the role is to deliver friendly, efficient service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of our guests. To supervise, train and motivate others, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers

You must:

- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
- Address any staff training issues immediately in order to ensure the perfect serve.
- To be knowledgeable and passionate about our product range
- Being “hands on” serving and presenting beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Assist in keeping the bar, front-of-house and toilets clean and tidy, at all times
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner
- Deal with deliveries and report and loss or damages to the manager
- Assist in keeping wastage to a minimum by the correct pouring and measurement of products
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
- Be involved and contribute at team meetings
- Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
- Maintain safety and security of the premises and its customers at all times.
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the pub
- Assisting the Manager with the day to day running of the site, being their right-hand person. Leading the team with confidence in the Managers absence.
- To promote the business and the events in a professional manner
- Setting up and closing down of the venue to management standards. Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads
- Strive to promote sales and increase profitability whilst making sure our customers leave feeling satisfied.
- Lead and engage the team in the day to day running of the site; get involved with making beverages, ensuring cleanliness and serving loyal customers.

**Salary**: Up to £9.80 per hour
