**About the Role**

The role of the Software Services DevOps will be to work within one of our DevOps teams to focus on a particular modernisation area whilst working with our Senior Developers and Technical Architects. Cross team collaboration will be key to ensure a successfuldelivery to agreed timescales

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual, with ability to work as part of a team. Desire to work in niche technical environments where everybody needs to 'dig in' and do a bit of everything, but exposure to new areas and technologies is constantand the scope for experience-based learning unmatched.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience of developing on public cloud hosted environments.
- Experience of creating design documents and interface specifications.
- Working as part of a Development Team.
- Working with Senior Developers/Architects to ensure high quality software delivery.
- Knowledge of MySQL/Aurora advantageous.
- Experience of using Git/Jira/Confluence desirable.
