**Engineering Manager - £100,000 - £120,000 - Fully Remote - Excellent Benefits & Bonus**
**Overview**:
I am looking for a highly experienced Engineering Manager to join a leading FSTE 100 organisation to help lead, manage and scale the software engineering teams.
**Role & Responsibilities**:

- You will build a people-first, collaborative and empathetic environment.
- Build and lead a teams of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands on career development
- You will drive technical initiatives that improve our engineering practices in partnership with senior engineers and principal architects across multiple teams
- Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
- Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and evangelise great engineering and organisational practices
- Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with company values
- Code reviews
- Drive the release process and continue to implement improvements.
- Ensuring Software Security Development Lifecycle is followed appropriately
**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Plan, organise and prioritise work in conjunction with the development team
- Manage and report on project deliverables
- Ability to execute quickly in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Translate a high-level roadmap into regular deliverables
- Strong development experience, although this is not a hands on role
- Minimum of 4 years of overseeing engineering teams in an.NET or Java agile environment
- Experience of working in a cloud and micro service environment
- Knowledge of project management tools and processes.
- Experience of monitoring and managing products in production
