My client, who are a well known consultancy in their market, is seeking a Senior Frontend Java/Angular specialist to help lead a team of engineers to build performant, intuitive, usable & scalable front ends for their end-clients Production Control Users. You'llhave the opportunity to prove leadership capabilities within a tier 1 Investment Bank and work on the full end-to-end process including: interfacing with stakeholders, inception of ideas based on requirements, wire framing, visual design, writing ACC, development,and testing. The platform is less than a year old and there's a great opportunity to steer it future lead positive change.
Product Control Transformation: A multiyear transformation across Product Control covering operating model redesign, process automation and strategic technology across all areas of Product Control including P&L & Balance Sheet Control, Accounting, Valuations(e.g. IPV) and Hedge Accounting

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing UX advice to Product Owners to help assist in the development of requirements which will provide a rich and valuable experience to our users
- Help maintain & build frameworks and common components across the front end which will help make the teams more efficient and assist in them building a consistent experience across the platform
- Mentor and guide more Junior front end engineers in offshore locations
- Ownership of large scale deliverables from inception to production
- At the coding coalface
- Influencing necessary change
- Assisting Product Owners to help them understand good UX and build an excellent experience
- Mentoring and leading junior employees and help them in their own progression
- Delivering a challenging programme of work to high standards

**Essential Skills**:

- Very experienced Angular developer, with a background working in a wide spectrum of front end libraries
- Experience of various automated testing platforms for UI testing such as Codecept/Puppeteer/Cypress
- Must demonstrate ability to assist with CICD process and build automatic testing capabilities to allow delivery at a high cadence
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- A track record of working in Financial Institutions is helpful
- Experience with micro-frontends
