What we are we looking for:
Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert guidance, support and training to the wider EMEA HR team, global colleagues, managers and key stakeholders on best practice for managing a diverse range of ER matters including but not limited to disciplinaries, grievances, harassment, redundancies, disability accommodations and performance management.- Managing own caseload of complex ER cases to include but not limited to disciplinaries and grievances, complex investigations, exits and appeals to deliver effective and commercial outcomes that are in line with Invesco’s values.- Ensuring all ER processes comply with up-to-date legal requirements in respective country jurisdiction and work in collaboration with HR Leads and Legal to regularly review and report any legal and compliance risk resulting from Employee Relations matters.- Identifying and addressing any key gaps and associated risks as a result of ongoing ER cases and provide advice and risk mitigation strategies for complex employee issues and concerns- Upskilling the HRA and HRBP team on management of ER matters, encouraging internal knowledge sharing and reducing reliance on external counsel where not needed- Regular review and updates to all policy documentation relating to employee relations to ensure it is legally compliant and in line with best practice and Invesco’s culture.- Production and delivery of ER metrics, sharing insights with stakeholders on employee relations issues and trends.
What you can bring:
- Previous experience in an ER Specialist role, preferably within a regulated environment.-
- Experience of managing employee relations cases outside the UK would be an advantage- Experience of supporting large scale organisational change and restructuring programmes including TUPE, redundancy and contractual variations.- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions- In-depth knowledge of UK Employee Relations procedures, business practices and best practices.- Knowledge of core employment legislation and practices in other EMEA countries would be an advantage- A commercial awareness of HR related industry trends and applies them in decision making, where appropriate.
