Invesco EMEA serves a breadth of clients including financial advisors, pension funds, and insurers. Our customers have complex and unique investment needs, which we are uniquely positioned to deliver through 13 investment centres with expertise in equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Marketing seeks to connect client needs with our capabilities by creating effective, accountable, multi-channel communications which educate, inspire and support our clients. The Analytics & Insights team enables this using research, digital & data analytics & marketing performance measurement to underpin the three pillars of know your clients, understand their journey & optimise performance.
Our challenge for the Data Analytics Specialist will be to bring an infectious passion for data as an enabler & embed that in our teams to achieve commercial results through data informed practices.

- Discover insights in data using various exploratory techniques such as clustering, regression, association, classification and others; and potentially identifying use cases for advanced analytics
- Liaise with Data Scientists to deploy models developed through to production and automation, aiming to make results of these models available to users at decision making points
- Work with our business partners in understanding their day-to-day issues and offer potential solutions using analytics tools and techniques to improve the process and enabling data to be available at crucial decision points
- Automating ad-hoc analyses into stable, repeatable and performance-ready reports, metrics, and dashboards
- Use data visualisation tools and techniques to enable and empower decision making at all levels, providing our business partners with the ability to optimise distribution activity
- Act as specialist and advocate of a data driven approach in Invesco cross channel distribution effectiveness, building data literacy, educating business users on how to use data visualisations throughout the decision-making process
- Advise the Head of Analytics and Visualisation on the latest data tools and techniques
**Work Experience Requirements**:
- First experience in developing simple solutions for complex business requirements using Alteryx and/or another programming language
- Know-how in delivering solutions from large scale, fragmented and sophisticated data sets as well as with data mining techniques
- Intermediate knowledge of Python for data analysis
- Experience working with SalesForce data tables
- Experience using Tableau and Data visualisation principles and standard methodologies to deliver uncomplicated, intuitive and easy reporting solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesise complex issues or scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts and communicate to audiences of all levels

- Interest in using data to provide uncomplicated and effective solutions for complex business problems
- Proven analytic problem-solving skills; Ability to understand, translate and map business questions into insight and reporting projects
- Excellent collaborative skills, ability to influence diverse audiences and build positive relationships with our partners.
