**Location**: Hadley Learning Community, Waterloo Road, Hadley, Telford, Shropshire, England, TF1 5NU

**Main Duties**:

- To ensure the highest possible standards of health and safety and customer care within the facility, ensuring all health and safety checks are carried out according to the agreed system and recorded appropriately.
- To develop and promote an exciting, innovative leisure programme in order to increase the usage and profitability of the facility.
- To manage staff to ensure that standards are maintained.
- To work as part of the management team to ensure that the contract is complied with.
- To ensure that staff are capable and well trained, highlighting and correcting through extra training any issues which may arise.
- Provide a high level of service to all customers.
- Supervision of staff ensuring the facility operates to the highest standard.
- To lead and assist with all Health and Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist the Leisure Operations Managers and Community Manager in order that the Facility is achieving all financial targets.
- Responsible for all plant rooms and equipment to ensure working correctly and efficiently.
- Responsible for all daily checks of facility.
- Dealing with any necessary administrative work.
- Ensuring all monies is correctly received and banked in accordance with financial regulations.
- To participate in any training for continuous improvement of facility. To carry out any other duties appropriate to the post.

**Qualifications and Specialist Training**:

- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Pool Plant Qualification

**Desirable**:

- NPLQ Trainer/Assessor
- IOSH
- Gym Instructor
- Exercise to Music
- Swim Teacher

**Specialist Knowledge / Competences**:
An up to date knowledge of Leisure Operational Management
