**Leisure Assistant Post**

**Hadley Learning Community**

We are looking for new Leisure Assistants to join us to assist the wider team with the service delivery within the Community and Leisure Department at Hadley Learning Community on a day to day basis and to assist the Leisure Operations team in delivering fantastic service, ensuring a high standard of customer service and service delivery, working within an established team to utilise the facilities to their fullest potential.

Duties are (but not limited to):

- Helping to ensure the highest possible standards of health, safety and customer care on site by helping to ensure all pre-agreed health and safety checks are carried out and recorded
- Working within your team and with the leisure management staff to ensure the facility operates to the highest standard
- Assist with maintaining security throughout the facility
- Preparing and ensuring the facilities are ready for the beginning of each shift, following appropriate guidance and utilising tools and equipment available
- Carrying out daily housekeeping checks throughout the building and facilities, ensuring cleanliness, security and safety are upheld to the highest standards at all times
- Completion of any administrative work required within set guidelines and targets

This list is not exhaustive and other tasks may be deemed as required to effectively support the Leisure Operations team.

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Be self motivated
- Have fantastic organisational skills
- Be confident with planning and prioritising workloads, also to be able to work independently when required to

Required Qualifications:
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

*if you don't have your Lifeguard qualification, these courses are run regularly at Hadley Learning Community so please feel free to reach out to enquire about dates if the role is of interest but you don't have your lifeguard qualification yet*
