The development of this new role in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) signals a time of significant change and an appetite for a new and different approach.
We want our people to feel valued, motivated, and engaged. EDI is a key priority for the King’s College Hospital and this role will provide important administrative support to the team responsible for driving forward this programme of work.
This post holder will share the provision of administrative support to the staff in the EDI Team and duties will include administrative and clerical work, much of which is undertaken using specific software packages.

Project Admin & Support
1. To support the production and delivery of training sessions through the preparation of materials, including handouts, registers and with the trainer/facilitator ensuring presentations and materials are up to date.
2. Follow and develop processes and governance systems to underpin the delivery of projects
4. To arrange meetings and co-ordinate activity as requested by your line manager.
Network Support and Development
1. To support the EDI Business Administrator as a dedicated administrative resource for the staff networks in order to help realise aims and objectives.
2. To support Network members progressing and/or resolving issues or signposting to other avenues of support.
Event Facilitation
1. To support the EDI team with events on the Diversity Calendar and ensure these events are showcased and celebrated across the Trust.
2. To support the EDI Business Administrator to work with the Communications team to ensure diversity and inclusion intranet page is up to date.
Management Support and Administration
1. To attend network, EDI team and Delivery Group meetings, and support EDI Business Administrator with managing the agenda and actions.
2. To support EDI team members with writing and recording meeting minutes in a timely a professional manner.
