London, United Kingdom St. George's University of London Full time

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Adviser reports to the Director of HR&OD within the HR department and is a critical post to enable St George’s to realise its commitment to diversity and inclusion. Working closely with the Director of HR&OD and Dean for EDI, this role will be the operational lead within the University on EDI matters and will be key in supporting the development and implementation of our EDI strategy. The jobholder will work with the leadership team, equality networks and other key stakeholders in delivering the EDI action plan.

The EDI Adviser will advise and support managers to ensure that diversity and inclusion principles are embedded across all activities throughout the University, including delivering EDI training and coaching. Networking with other EDI professionals to share learning is also encouraged.

This role might suit somebody in the relatively early stages of their career within EDI who is looking to make a real difference. The challenges are broad and there is much to do - this is a real opportunity to influence the future success of the UK’s only university dedicated to medical and healthcare sciences education, training and research.

Flexible working, including part-time or reduced hours of work, opportunities to work from home for many posts, compressed hours and local flexibility in agreeing start and finish times of work are among the extra benefits offered by St George’s, University of London.
