The successful **Accounts Payable Specialist** will be responsible for operating the Accounts Payable function for the Oliver Valves Business, offering support to the finance team and wider business with the following range of duties.

**Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist**:
- Processing purchase invoices.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and reconcile differences.
- Ensuring goods are booked in before payment.
- Assisting in month end reconciliation.
- Creating BACS and western union payments.
- Assisting accounts receivable with debt collection along with holiday cover.
- Release orders as needed
- Ad Hoc finance tasks as needed
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems.
- Highly organised.
- Self-motivator.
- Prepared to suggest improvements to processes.
- Accounts Payable experience required.
- IT literate, use of excel, ERP system experience.
