**Business Consulting**
- Engage with business partners to provide solutions to problems with increased scope and complexity (Brand or BU) by identifying relevant data and providing actionable insights.
- Build a very good understanding of the business fundamentals and business drivers of business partners.
- Build a clear understanding of requirements or specification for analysis.
- Be an advocate of data driven decision making.

**Strategic Analysis and Insights**
- Challenge business partners to improve strategy, implementation and processes enabling better customer experience and business results as a result of sound strategic analysis.
- Create complex queries / extracts by combining multiple data sources, make new data sources available across multiple datasets
- both internal and external.
- Make recommendations from analytics work and ensure the results are communicated to all relevant stakeholders in an appropriate way to enable data driven decision making.
- Work with business partners to develop directed insights that are aligned to brand and/or company objectives
- Present the results and recommendations in front of business leaders and be able to influence / challenge business decisions.

**Technology and Tool utilisation**
- Proficient at cleaning, preparation and joining of data e.g. through Knime, AWS Glue, Business Objects.
- Understanding of data architecture and data models
- Be qualified or have at least foundational experience in visualisation software and good visualisation practice.
- Run defined standardized reports around core operational metrics and ensure the results are correct and understood.
- Work with business partners to make adjustments to standard reports based on changing business needs.

**Analytics**
- Experience as a Business Analyst with an eye for detail
- Data cleaning and preparation skill (database querying, descriptive statistics)
- Understanding of key statistical concepts (regressions, modelling)
- Experience in writing code (e.g. Python, SQL, Java, VBA)
- Proficient use of Excel (lookups, pivot tables etc..)
- Preferable experience with visualization software (Tableau, PowerBi)
- Problem solving skills and lateral thinking ability.
- An eye for detail
