Based in Coventry, our client is a creative development studio specialising in the enterprise use of gaming technology supporting some of the most recognised brands in the UK and abroad.
Due to recent development our client is looking to take on a lead developer, to lead the technical development team, ensuring the successful delivery of a range of complex IT development projects, providing support in the development and project managementprocess across the business. You will be responsible for helping to deliver on key games projects working in either Unity or Unreal and excellent knowledge of software development especially within the 3D animation and games industry is key
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the leading the programming team from a technical perspective.
- Providing thought leadership and technology direction for the business’s customer delivery.
- Provide feedback for proposed learning and development for all programming team. Liaise between the business development team and the client directly, to scope technical projects, and advise appropriate routes to completion.
- Provide project management information and progress reports on technical development for both the Operations Director and the client.
- Represent the business as required both internally and externally. Attend client meetings, travel as required.
- Undertake, in association with the Operations Director, strategic planning activities related to the future technical direction of the commercial operations.
- Lead the design, production and delivery of the development contracts secured by the business.
- Provide input preparation of quotes and other associated materials required.
- Create documentation for all project deliverables.

You will have:

- 5+ years’ commercial experience, programming in Unreal OR Unity
- Experience dealing directly with clients and be comfortable attending in person where required.
- Experience mentoring or managing Junior developers.
- Be able to deliver to timeframes

**Salary: £54,000 to £59,000 DOE**
Remote working must be willing to travel on site approximately, every 2 weeks.
