**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation as needed.
- Collaborate with the client to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with standard Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, policies and accounting standards.
- Provide support for the client by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required although on job training will be provided if necessary.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial reporting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
