We are looking for someone to join the Lochaber Cancer and Palliative Care Team in Lochaber. Previous community nursing experience and administration of SACT treatment desirable. Responsibilities Provide SACT treatment locally 1 day a week. Support acute and community patients with high levels of clinical decision‑making skills. Monitor and improve standards of cancer / palliative care through supervised practice, clinical audit, best‑practice evidence/research implementation, facilitating learning and supporting professional colleagues to provide informed palliative care. Contribute to developing a sustainable SACT service and community‑based palliative care service, supporting the local hospital. Non‑medical prescribing desirable; a development post would be considered.
