To be considered for this position it would be advantageous that you have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role, within the Gate and Barrier industry, along with a proven track record of sales estimation ability.

Working as part of a friendly team at our head office in Bredbury, Stockport, this is an exciting opportunity within a growing business, for someone ambitious, who wants to expand their knowledge and make a role their own.

This is a full-time permanent position and the hours for this position are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

We offer 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 Bank Holidays), training and free parking.

**Role Summary**:
This Sales Estimator role involves working closely with our existing team to ensure quotations and tenders are submitted within deadlines, whilst following a set procedure of works, in an organised and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

- Experience within the Gate and Barrier Industry in a sales estimating and planning role, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Liaising with prospects or existing customers at enquiry stage to determine their exact requirements.
- Responsible for estimating the costs of a planned project in terms of the labour, equipment and materials required.
- Researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preparing and submitting quotations.
- Contacting prospects to follow-up on all quotations after a time delay, recording results and processes.
- Involved with new project handovers, helping with planning and all other aspects of sales processes in general.

In addition to the above, you will have impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, have excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and be very self-motivated.
