Sales Support Assistant

**Job purpose**:
To provide administrative support for all Sales and Customer Service teams and general business support for the UK team. Liaising with customers and completing associated administration to ensure high levels of customer service.
**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Financial Perspective_
- Providing support primarily for Account Managers and Exporting Team.
- Ensuring the sample area is clean & tidy at all times, sending packages and samples as directed.
- Completing sample requests, ensuring despatch coordinating receipt & booking samples into stock.
- SAP administration relating to processing customer orders.
- Input sales/order/customer information onto Excel.
- Supporting sales team to achieve targeted turnover and margin aspirations.
- Assist in promoting offers to customers in line with seasonal demands to promote sales growth.
- Compilation of product offers including prices & availability.
- **Customer Perspective**_
- Completing follow-up sales administration to confirm prices, fulfil sample requests, chase estimates and ensure relevant progress documentation is completed.
- Constant liaison with customers to keep them informed
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships and credibility.
- IT literate, used to working on Excel.
- Good organisation ability & administration skills. - Self-motivated, proactive and able to resolve problems.
- Good sales orientation and a clear & confident ambassador for the company.
- Resilient and able to maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Desire to provide excellent customer service. - Ability to accommodate a varied workload and to cope with changing priorities. with progress and any potential problems.
- Establishing strong links with customers.
- Develop customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain sales 'bible' from customer confirmations, completing confirmations, then creating, and arranged codes to be raised where necessary.
- Maintain spreadsheets sales vs estimated analysis.
- Loading new codes and prices onto SAP.
- Service update reports to customers.
- Supporting in trade shows
- Creating general communication offers and updating range plans
- **Internal Process Perspective**_
- Helping with sales forecasting & reporting.
- Putting forecast onto system.
- Keep internal departments fully updated with customer requirements.
- Ensure the critical path is met and delivery to the customer is confirmed.
- Undertake market research for all channels when required
- Developing customer-specific requirements when needed.
- Strong links with all sales managers to keep up-to-date on the product, pricing, specification, stock, promotional offers & delivery.
- Sharing approved marketing images and liaising with marketing and ecommerce team
- Undertake a global marketing audit bi-annually
- Flexible to cover holiday/absences
**Salary**: From £19,700.00 per year
