**Receptionist**

**Location: Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire**

**Salary: £9.50 Per Hour**

**Part time - 3 days a week 9am - 5pm, includes alternate Saturdays 9am - 1pm on rolling rota**

**The Company**:
My client is a family-run hearing loss company based in Oxfordshire. They are now looking to appoint a friendly receptionist to join their team. As part of your role, you will be covering the reception desk 3 days a week including alternate weekends. Youwill be required to cover holiday and sickness as part of your role.

**Main purpose of Receptionist**:
As a receptionist you will be greeting patients and confirming appointments both face to face and via the telephone. Therefore, you will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

**Receptionist Day to day**:

- Greet patients - confirming their attendance to appointment and support to complete any necessary paperwork.
- Answer telephone and deal with enquiries in a calm and professional manner.
- Keeping the reception area tidy and well maintained throughout the day.
- Send and receive faxes
- Receiving and distributing post
- General filing
- Communicating with patients face to face and over the telephone

**Essential Skills & Requirements**:

- Proven secretarial or administrative experience and/or reception experience is essential;
- Strong communications skills - written and verbal;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- IT skills: Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritise and plan workload;
- A highly organised and professional approach with a keen eye for detail;
- A proactive, hardworking, flexible and efficient
