**About the Role**:
You will work as part of a team, supporting staff and working across settings to provide holistic assessments for people with challenging behaviours and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.The methodology used will be Applied Behaviour Analysis and the approachwill be one of mentoring and support. Intervention strategies will be person centred and include both reactive and proactive approaches.You will also work with the Development Team to design services to meet the needs of individuals who present major challenges.Full job description available upon request.

**Person Specification**:

- Positive Behaviour Support qualification or other relevant qualification e.g. Psychology /Autism
- Solid experience of conducting assessments and then implementing intervention plans
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviours/autistic spectrum disorder
- Happy with frequent travel to different sites in the region as and when required with some overnight stays
- Capacity to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Positive attitude, passion and willingness to develop skills within Practitioner role
- Excellent presentation skills - strong PowerPoint knowledge
- Understanding of legislation relating to the values that support services for people with learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum conditions
- Strong person centred approach
- Effective relationship builder

**Salary & Benefits**:
