Business Analyst

Salt is currently recruiting for one of its Banking clients based in Belgium. There would be a requirement to travel once a month for 3/4 days.

Manage the requirements for a range of projects implementing technical capabilities for the business resilience project.

Ensure that all of the business requirements are implemented in the technical foundations.
Special attention to the testability of all these technical capabilities.

**Role**

Implementation of IT Asset and Configuration management Governance and Processes are amongst key objectives of the client. We have recently migrated to ServiceNow as supporting platform for the CMDB. The goal is now to implement all the means to ensure dataquality in term of completeness and accuracy and enforce the CMDB become the single source of truth for all IT processes.

This goes on one side through the setup of proper Governance and Processes and on another side through the implementation of the technical means for data collection and integration. In parallel, controls and KPIs must be developed and implemented to makevisible the CMDB quality level and enforce remediation actions.
- You will write requirements allowing the technical teams we interact with (data providers and consumers) and have dependencies on (mainly ServiceNow COE) to understand which features need to be implemented. You will take into consideration the regulations,the general architecture and objective of the IT asset management program.
- You will pay particular attention on the consistency between the different projects and how the delivered capabilities will work together for a functional requirement point of view.
- In close collaboration with architects and E2E Solution designers you will then review the design, discuss and challenge it to ensure that all aspects have been considered and optimized.
- You will describe the processes on how to use the developed capabilities from a functional point of view and will highlight the links between the different capabilities.
- Over time you will build and maintain the business documentation around these capabilities.
- Finally you ensure that requirements are produced in a way that they can be verified through testing.

- Analytical and able to derive technical requirements from non-technical documentation
- Able to write clear and concise requirements for technical teams
- Understand the overall context and ensure that the requirement fit the overall picture
- Work autonomously and interacts with a wide variety of teams both technical and business.
- Able to build a network of people
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Critical thinker

**The required knowledge**
- General understanding of IT infrastructure (datacentre, networks, disk, servers )
- Understands and is able to use the vocabulary used by technical teams
- Can write precise requirements in a technical language and is able to explain to business users the meaning of the requirements in a business language
- While not a must, ServiceNow-specific skills would be nice to have. E.g. CMDB queries, Performance Analytics, APIs, Flow Designer,

Specific skills, such as: CMDB Queries, Performance Analytics, APIs, flow designer (at least as a nice to have)

**Deliverables you will produce**
- Requirement documents for the IT capabilities
- User stories describing the usage of the capabilities
