**Customer Service Representative - Edinburgh Depot**

We provide a wide range of plant and equipment hire solutions to the construction, civil engineering and industrial sectors. Our Head office is in Grangemouth, with depots across Scotland and Manchester. We operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. **What role will you play in our team?**

In this dynamic role you will work from our hire desk, covering all aspects of Customer Service and providing critical support to the Depot Manager. You will operate part of your week assisting with duties required to deliver excellent customer service and part week out on the field visiting our customers and generating new business opportunities. You will target sites and customers to promote all Jarvie Plant products in a specific geographic area and our expectation is that you will help to increase sales growth through conducting sales telephone calls and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities will include:

- Create and maintain a register of all live sites/customers and chart our progress in business secured as well as build positive relations with all potential clients.
- You will be canvasing target sites in the local area to promote all Jarvie Plant Group products.
- You will be expected to help increase sales growth in your local area and conduct sales telephone calls.
- General hire desk duties, To include on/off hire administration and proactive customer service calls.
- You may be required to work at other locations for holiday cover.
- You will have the use of a pool car to carry out these duties._

**Am I the person for this Job?**
- Do you have experience working in a customer service environment and dealing with both sales administration and outward sales activity?
- Are you a skilled multi-tasker that can adapt quickly and flexible to changing circumstances?
- Do you have previous sales experience, with knowledge gained in a Plant Hire industry (desirable)
- Are you a reliable team player, target driven and self-motivated
- Are you customer focused and a genuine enthusiasm for excellent customer service.
- Are you proficient Microsoft Office user: Word/Excel/Outlook/SharePoint
