**Part time/ Remote Role - 3 days a week £21k**

**INTRODUCTION**

Wishbone Design & Build, a dynamic, growing, residential focused, design & build firm working in London & Home Counties. We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper & Administrator to join their growing team. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on client satisfaction, they are seeking a meticulous and organised Bookkeeper & Administrator to join their growing team and contribute to the success of Wishbone Design and Build.

THE POSITION

**Accounting**:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including resolving client and supplier queries.
- Recording financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner using Xero.
- Assist Accountant with the preparation of the CIS and VAT returns.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the commercial and site teams to track Project budgets and expenses.
- Assist with month end reporting and meeting various deadlines.

**Administration**:

- Ordering items for delivery to sites
- Taking calls from clients & public
- Dealing with scheme enquiries and redirecting calls
- Assist with calling potential architects for tenders.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within the construction industry. Knowledge of CIS would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Xero, Dext and Microsoft suite including Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and data entry accuracy is essential.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A flexible approach to assisting others within the team when busy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, work well within the team and able to collaborate effectively with both suppliers and clients.
