**Position**: Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper
**Location**: Christchurch

**Requirements**:

- Strong **attention to detail **and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent **communication** and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to **work well under pressure** and meet deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently manage **payroll processes** to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure financial integrity through meticulous **bank reconciliation**.
- Handle the seamless processing of **purchase and sales invoices**.
- Expertly navigate **VAT returns** to maintain compliance with regulations.
- Spearhead credit control efforts tooptimise **cash flow** management.
- Provide **exceptional customer service** by promptly addressing telephone inquiries.
- Support day-to-day operations with **general administrative tasks **such as filing and software backup.
- Manage Construction Industry Scheme (**CIS**) submissions with precision.
- Assist in **project costing** activities to maintain profitability and budget adherence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £24,000.00 per year
