Our purpose is to drive change in the organics recycling and renewable energy industry, not just because we should, but because we care.** **Description** As the successful HR Officer your responsbilities will include: - Coordinate and take the lead on activities and projects from the people plan for the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and rewards. Make sure you deliver results and meet milestones. - Coordinate the information that has to be given to the company's payroll vendor, making sure that proper data is entered and that all post-payroll tasks are managed and reports are generated. - Gain a deeper grasp of the unique requirements of the business area and explore solutions where necessary, assisting and educating line managers on all activities and processes related to the employee life cycle. - Create and oversee the HRIS system (Sage) for all phases of the employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding, as well as probationary periods, absences, yearly performance reviews, etc., while ensuring the data is retained inside the systemThesystem complies with the data schedules. - Drive the business's recruitment needs as a member of the HR team to make sure we have the right individuals when we need them. - Implement and drive process improvement around areas of responsibility including but not limited to recruitment, payroll, and HRIS system. - Provide managers and employees with legally compliant advice and support regarding employee relations, employee benefits, recruitment or payroll queries and processes. Activities include supporting recruitment campaigns as well as managing the entire recruitmentprocess from initial attraction through onboarding. When feasible, find a solution, and when necessary, escalate - Offer assistance with employee relations. Make ensuring that policies are current and compatible with the law. Support HR in employee relations discussions. As an HR team member, you will make sure the HR inbox is monitored. Support the development of our people content online, both internally and externally (intranet, website, social media, etc.); Respond to line managers and ensure that the service level expectationsfor responses are met; Provide regular reporting and analysis to HR Business Partner to help drive people insights and decision making. **Profile** My client is looking for someone who can use creativity to plan, organise and manage multiple tasks without impacting on quality, whilst being adaptable to changing responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you'll have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, proven experience building stakeholder relationships, experience of working with HR/Onboarding information systems, and have the ability to use your initiative andwork well under pressure.
