South Croydon, United Kingdom John Whitgift Foundation Full time

Are you interested in joining a team that is committed to providing outstanding care to older people?

Would you like to join one of Croydon’s oldest care charities with community at its heart?

We are looking for a skilled Clinical Lead to join our warm and friendly team at Whitgift House, a 36-bed nursing home with leafy surroundings in south Croydon. The role is of full-time nature and flexibility is a must.

The Clinical Lead is an integral role within the Home and assists the Home Manager with professional and administrative duties and is responsible to the Home Manager for the care /nursing matters in the Home whilst ensuring that the Home Manager is kept informed at all times. In the absence of the Home Manager, the Clinical Lead is the leader as well as a working member of the care team who has the overall responsibility of the nursing / care management of the Home, the maintenance of high standards of care and monitoring of performance of the staff.

This is a key role in the organisation and is the most senior role besides the Home manager. The Clinical Lead will lead the nursing team and be responsible for delivering individual care plans. As well as ensuring care plans meet our high clinical and compliance standards the Clinical Lead will deputise for the home manager and work with local health care groups and GP's. You will have access to all the support and training you need. We'll look to you to lead, support, and inspire your team members, making sure our residents get the very best one-to-one care.

We are proud to be part of a 425-year-old education and care charity, the John Whitgift Foundation. Through our care homes and services at Whitgift Care, our mission is to give older people a true sense of community, comfort, and joy in later life.

We provide our staff with an excellent benefits package, which includes up to 10% employer contribution into our pension scheme and a whole range of health and wellbeing benefits.

Are you ready to jump aboard and contribute to the impressive legacy this Foundation is leaving?

So, if you are a Clinical Lead looking for a change and would like to join a fabulous team, then please give us a call.

**Our three Homes**: The Whitgift Almshouses, Whitgift House and Wilhelmina House, are happy, thriving and secure communities where staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide the highest standards of care. Within Whitgift Care, we like to call ourselves a family where our core values of respect, dignity and privacy are our priority.

We are proud to be part of the John Whitgift Foundation, a local charity in Croydon, whose mission is to provide education for the young and care for the elderly since its establishment by our Founder, Archbishop John Whitgift, in 1596.

Our passion for care also extends to the wider local community through our Carers’ Information Service that provides invaluable information, support and advice to an estimated 30,000 carers in Croydon.
