Robertsons Fine Foods is a member of Browns Food Group, and we are a leading Pork Manufacturer with sites across Scotland and England and due to recent business acquisition have an exciting opportunity as our telesales team is expanding.

We are recruiting as we have expanded our business and are looking for individuals who will be joining our telesales team based in Irvine. You will train with the team learning the role, products, and our customers to ensure we provide the best quality of service and understand new growth opportunities. You will learn from our experiences sales team on how to have effective and engaging conversations to grow our relationship with our customers.

**Role Description**

**Telesales**
- Actively call a set and defined customer base of customer calls
- Utilising knowledge of customers identify opportunity products setting objectives and targets for each call to achieve new listings
- Upsell to customers selling new/additional lines to broaden their purchasing
- Sell increased volume of existing products to customer base to drive the ongoing customer value

**Customer Service**
- Maintain and continually update your product Features and Benefits to ensure expert product knowledge
- Ensure expert customer understanding to enable you to identify opportunities and develop the customers’ business with targeted products
- Deliver order processing accuracy
- Update Customer call files ensuring the customer information is accurate and up to date with identified opportunities

**Communications**
- Working with wider sales team and area account managers to ensure strong channels of communication
- Liaise internally with despatch and operations where relevant to ensure order accuracy and product availability
- Work with office sales team and office manager

**Key results Areas**

**Telesales**
- Processing of customer orders
- Orders all complete and accurate as per call files

**Selling**
- Upselling customer orders
- Increase average sales of office grade customers
- New prospect business

- Order accuracy

Hours of work

8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday,

8.30am - 4pm Friday

35 core hours

Overtime available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
