A9 Accountancy is an independent chartered accountancy firm based in Inverness. We provide high-quality compliance, business advisory and other financial services to meet the unique demands of the Highland business community.
Our clients are located all over the Highlands and beyond. Our friendly team are able to provide a full range of accountancy based services. We offer pro active advice and assistance to our clients who range in size from small to large, and operating across a wide variety of industries including construction, hospitality & leisure, healthcare, farming, research and development, tech and renewables.
The firm has been growing rapidly and is continuing to do so. As a result we are keen to further expand our team with the recruitment of an Office Administrator.
Our office space has recently doubled in size and has been refurbished to a high standard, creating a modern and comfortable working environment for all of our team - also allowing us to expand our team further. We have a capable and friendly team of professionals who are committed to providing high quality client service, working collaboratively and continuing to develop their skills and knowledge through regular learning and CPD activities.
**The job role**
We are currently looking for someone to join our busy Inverness office as an Office Administrator. This might suit someone looking for school friendly hours or a confident school leaver looking for an entry role.
**Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)**
- Meet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages & provide information to callers
- Make refreshments for visitors & clients
- Provide administrative support to staff team as needed (filing, archiving, scanning)
- Opportunities will be available to assist with basic book keeping & payroll processing

**Essential**
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experienced with IT and utilizing common software packages such as Excel, Word & Outlook
- Willingness to learn new software & accountancy related skills
**Desirable**
- Previous experience in an administrative/receptionist role
