As a Payroll Coordinator, you will support the Payroll Team Leaders in ensuring that all payrolls - consisting of retail, manufacturing and distribution, are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Page Personnel are currently recruiting a Payroll Coordinator on behalf of a Global retail business based in Wakefield.

As a Payroll Coordinator, you will support the Payroll Team Leaders in ensuring that all payrolls - consisting of retail, manufacturing and distribution, are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

**Description**

As a Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for, however not limited to; processing the payrolls accurately and on time, process New Starters, Change of Details forms, Leaver forms and absence records by entering the details into the payroll system,maintaining employee record files and ensure that all employees are set up on the correct contract type, hours, pay and job titles, ensuring data accuracy of employee records on a monthly basis, to maintain, check and update in line with Company standards,contractual information & legislation, supporting the Payroll Team Leaders in ensuring the timely coordination of all payrolls including calculations, reports and month end processes, supporting the Payroll Team Leaders in ensuring that all monthly payrollsare reconciled and appropriate files for Pension Auto-enrolment and RTI are submitted in a timely manner, providing support to the Payroll Administrator and providing cover (holidays / sickness) on all aspects of the Payroll Administrator's duties.

**Profile**
- Have experience in Payroll processing
- Have knowledge and experience of a Payroll function and employee lifecycle from New Starter to Leaver
- Have excellent attention to detail skills and an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software / systems
- Have the ability to work within a team and to adopt a coaching approach
- Have the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously
- Have the ability to be calm and resilient under pressure

**Job Offer**

Salary is up to £25,000 depending on your level of experience

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (the hours worked can be flexible)
Hybrid working available - you will be required to go in to the office 2 days per week
