William Blyth and Sussex Handmade Brick are both well established businesses operating for over 150 Years, manufacturing handmade clay bricks and roof tiles. We have an immediate vacancy for an experienced payroll clerk to take on full responsibility of running payroll for approximately 60 employees working from our head offices in a rural environment on the outskirts of Wakefield.

Hours of work are Monday - Wednesday 8:30am - 5pm with an hour lunch break.

Your duties will include:
Cross referencing and calculating hours / bonuses / holidays and any statutory payments for weekly and monthly payrolls.

Responsible for all Pension and HMRC requirements

Processing payments using an online banking system

Maintaining employee records, contract letters, rate changes

Keep up to date with legislations and in line with data protection

Providing weekly ER costings

Receive and coordinate requests to leave and other absences

Process new employees and terminations

Ensure employee handbooks are kept up to date

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
