Job Title: Event Assistant

Job Summary:
Duties of a events assistant:

- **Loading and Unloading the Van**:

- Load and unload all necessary equipment and decorations for the event.
- Ensure that all items are securely packed and transported to avoid damage.
- **Checking the Job Sheet**:

- Review the job sheet thoroughly to ensure all required items are loaded for the event.
- Verify that all equipment, decorations, and materials listed on the job sheet are accounted for.
- **Arrival at the Venue**:

- Arrive at the venue on time and coordinate unloading and setup.
- Perform a walk-through of the venue to confirm the layout and setup plan.
- **Collaboration with Suppliers and Venue Staff**:

- Work closely with other suppliers and venue staff to ensure smooth coordination.
- Communicate effectively to manage timelines and logístical details.
- **Maintaining Professionalism and Confidentiality**:

- Uphold a professional demeanor at all times, representing the company with integrity.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client details and event specifics.
- **Ensuring Guest or Delegate Numbers are Correct**:

- Confirm the final number of guests or delegates with the client or venue staff.
- Adjust plans accordingly if there are any changes in the expected attendance.
- **Confirming Key Timings**:

- Verify key timings of the day with the client and venue staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Coordinate timing for setup, event activities, and teardown.
- **Styling the Event According to Specification**:

- Style the event venue according to the client's specifications and the provided design plan.
- Ensure all elements are arranged as per the agreed-upon layout and aesthetic.
- **Collection and De-rig of the Event**:

- Return to the venue after the event to collect all equipment and decorations.
- Carefully de-rig and pack up all items, ensuring nothing is left behind.
- Load items back into the van, ensuring everything is transported safely and securely.
- Conduct a final check of the venue to ensure it is left in good condition.
