**JOB TITLE**: Credit Controller

**LOCATION**: Paignton

**HOURS**: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

**SALARY**: £25, 000 per annum

**THE ROLE**: We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to support the company's busy Accounts Team. Within this role you will manage all aspects of the Credit Control and Debtors Ledger Management. You will also support the FinancialController with all aspects of the accounts department such as Purchase Ledger, supplier ordering, fixed asset management, reconciliations, and analysis reporting. This is a key role within the finance department so we are really looking for someone who cancome in and hit the ground running

**YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- All aspects of Credit Control and Management of Debtor Ledger, Sales Invoicing, Credit Notes, Customer Queries, Credit Control Procedures, Debt Management and Recovery, Customer and Debtor Ledger Reconciliations
- Providing help & support to The Financial Controller and Management Account Supervisor and Payroll Supervisor
- Managing full credit control process, systems and processes
- Providing regular and up to date information as required on Credit Control and Debt collection matters to Financial Controller and Operations Director & via KPI's and Stat's to team
- Producing weekly invoices accurately and in a timely manner to be sent to customers
- Ensuring customer receipts are processed and customer accounts updated and reconciled accordingly
- Setting up all new customer accounts on the system
- Ensuring all debtor accounts are kept up to date with relevant billing information, contact details and rates or terms as required
- Ensuring all aspects of credit control and debt chasing is supported by an up-to-date written procedure to gain improvements in credit control and debtors KPI and Reporting
- Daily reconciliations of all company bank accounts, on Sage to appropriate bank accounts
- Petty Cash Management & reconciliations
- Assisting with weekly cashflow preparation and monthly nominal ledger account reconciliations

**THE CANDIDATE**:

- Previous experience in Credit Control and Debt Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- A can-do and positive attitude
- Great attention to detail and accuracy when working
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
- A team player
- Ability to work to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
