Head of Finance

£60k - £65k per annum
An exciting position has arisen for a growing company based in Torbay/ Paignton for a Head of Finance. The role will be providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company's financial commitments are met.
The duties of the Head of Finance will include:

- Professional and personnel management of Finance and Controlling
- Management of financial accounting in accordance with statutory and internal Group regulations
- Preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Management of external auditor relationship and ensuring the organisations are compliant with accounting standards.
- To lead on the budgeting and to oversee reforecasts and to present these budgets and reviews to Management and Group
- Support development of financial strategy, including establishing and analysing key performance KPIs (accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, credit limits, delivery stop, inventory etc.)
- Recognition and elimination of risks (exchange rates, interest rates, etc. according to risk management)
- Employee management, appraisal, and promotion
- Implementation of the corporate strategy in the subordinate area
Required skills and qualifications:

- Proven years of experience in (industrial) accounting
- Fully Qualified; (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW)
- Good commercial and business awareness
- Problem solving and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, loyal, able to deal with conflicts, efficient work ethic.
- MS Office and ERP experience
