We will require to complete a DBS for this role.

This position is part time and holiday cover. The shift hours are 23:00 - 07:30, with at least 17 hours a week with the option to increase during cover for annual leave between Monday - Sunday.

As a **night porter** you will be starting work at 11 p.m. receiving a shift handover from the reception and restaurant teams. You will be required to work on your own for most of your shift and responsible for all aspects of the hotel, handing back over to the reception, restaurant, and kitchen team at 7.30a.m.

The aspects are not limited to:

- The security and safety of the hotel and being able to react and deal with various fire or security alarms at Twr y Felin or any of the other properties. Contacting the on-call team for any urgent issues.
- Being aware of what guests and staff are in all the hotels using Mews, Res Diary, and Rota Cloud software.
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel and serving guests drinks and room service food.
- Responding to guests requests for extra teabags, coffee pods, milk, water, towels, bedding, etcthis list is not exhaustive.
- Printing end of day and card machine reports. Signing off fire folder.
- Cleaning public areas. This includes toilets.
- Taking out bins and laundry.
- Minor maintenance tasks.
- Prepare the restaurant for service. This includes polishing cutlery, glasses, cleaning place mats, laying up the restaurant, preparing the breakfast buffet, counting tills.
- For any non-urgent guest enquiries or hotel issues handing them over to reception, restaurant, and kitchen team at 7.30am.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour
