**Job Purpose**

To ensure exceptional service levels are provided to guests and colleagues at Twr y Felin Hotel, Roch Castle and Penrhiw from the Reception Team.

You will oversee reception and reservations for Twr y Felin, Roch Castle and Penrhiw from the central location of Twr y Felin Hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
**What we expect of you**:
**1.** Alongside the Reception Manager and Assistant Reception Manager, successfully lead the Reception Team to deliver a high level of service and sales.

2. Be fully conversant and able to operate and train personnel on the Property Management System (PMS).

3. Be responsible for assisting to supervising all Reception Team members to deliver a 5 star service.

4. Attend all relevant meetings.

5. Be conversant with all rates, promotions and facilities in all of the Retreats Group properties and pass this information accurately on to guests.

6. Ensure that an effective over communication system is in adhered to for the Reception Team on a shift by shift basis, and the information is passed to the relevant departments and their team members.

Manage the guest profile facility on the PMS to the finest detail and accuracy possible to ensure a personalised service and pass on this information to your relevant colleagues in morning meeting.

8. Have a close seamless working relationship with all departments to provide seamless working practices and upsell and promote the other departments within the group at every given opportunity in order to maximize group sales.

9. Ensure all reservation deposits and guest bill payments are accounted for accurately on a daily basis.

10. Provide a smooth delivery of service and guest satisfaction. Whenever possible to anticipate guests’ needs, to be aware of all written and spoken requests, to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner and offer professional, positive complaint handling procedures.

11. Ensure S.O.Ps and checklists are kept up to date and are utilised at all times.

12. Ensure that guest feedback is recorded effectively.

Support your colleagues in all other departments with their operational duties when required.

14. Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety, licensing and employment law ensuring all Reception team members are aware of the legislation and expectations.

15. Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by your colleagues and your line manager.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From £11.25 per hour
