The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is currently seeking a Hotel Receptionist/Reservationist.

The Hotel Receptionist/Reservationist is to be guest focused and treat guests with due care and attention to anticipates the guests’ needs. They will be responsible for the day to day running of reception and reservations, in line with the standard operating procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Respects reservation commitments in full using Professional techniques
- Carries out all operations concerning guest arrival and departure in compliance with internal procedures
- Handles phone calls
- Ensures that all guest documentation is up-to-date and available
- Answer all calls within 5 rings
- Promotes the hotel’s range of services in order to increase sales
- Applies and actively supports the hotel’s pricing policy in order to increase REVPAR
- Respects the procedures governing invoicing and cash operations
- Manages the cash under individuals responsibility
- Ensures the safety of people and property
- Take ownership of guest request
- Assist in dealing with complaints and customer queries
- Receiving and recording deposits
- Inputting of all reservations into the computerised reservations system
- Is familiar with the Data Protection Act 1998 and conduct all duties within the guidelines of the Act.
- Attends training sessions or courses as required.

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
