Hotel Reservationist

The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Hotel Reservationist with a good eye for detail to join our Front of House team. The Hotel Reservationist is to be guest focused and to be a wealth of knowledge for all areas of the hotel, treating guests with due care and attention by anticipating their needs.

**This position will also include Front of House training and Reception duties as and when required.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Quote correct rates and ensure all relevant up sales are added and processed correctly.
- Deliver excellent IT skills, use of differing programmes and software and show adherence to GDPR and confidentiality of processing payments and personal information.
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business, adhering to policies and escalating as per process where applicable.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities, campaigns, offers and events.
- Carry out specific duties as and when required by the Front office Manager.

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Guestline Reslynx: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Sales administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Reservations: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
