We are recruiting to fill the role of **Specialist Support Worker**. You will join us in Camden on a**full time, permanent basis** and in return you will receive a competitive salary of** £24,989 Per Annum (Inc LW)**Plus Pension and Other Benefits.

Depaul is one of the biggest homelessness charities in the UK, for more than 30 years we’ve worked alongside young people facing homelessness. We offer accommodation, practical support and the wellbeing resources that the people we work with need to getback on their feet.

**The** **SpecialistSupport Worker** **Role:**

You will run one-to one and group support sessions within the accommodation and in the local community, aimed at achieving desired outcomes relating to accommodation, improved financial stability, improved social networks and improved engagement in meaningfulactivities.

In addition, you will work in collaboration with other team members and local agencies to support the wellbeing and safety of our clients.

**What we are looking for in our SpecialistSupport Worker**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- A relevant qualification, for example in psychology, counselling, social work, mental health, and/or significant experience of working with young people with complex needs.
- Ability to work with children and young people whose behaviour is personally challenging.
- Ability to provide a therapeutic environment which contributes to young people’s health development (including sexual).
- Experience working in partnership with multi agency teams, including social workers and mental health professionals.
