**The Support Worker Role:**
As Support Worker, you will join a team of professionals working alongside our clients to develop the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
You will manage a small caseload of young people by taking responsibility for their well-being and day to day support in the service. This will involve running group sessions and other key activities within the accommodation to support residents’ individualdevelopment and social engagement.
In addition, you will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on.
**What will ideally support your success in this role?**
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use
- A knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
- Able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures
- Commitment to promoting an environment, which has the highest regard for the Health and Safety of others.
