We are looking for a passionate and motivated Specialist Support Worker that is keen on impacting lives of vulnerable young people and adults at risk of homelessness in Camden. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receivea competitive salary of £24,989 Per Annum (Inc LW) Plus Pension and Other Benefits.

**The Specialist Support WorkerRole:**

As Specialist Support Worker, you will manage a small caseload of young people with complex needs in the supported accommodation by taking responsibility for their well-being and day to day support in the service.

You will run one-to one and group support sessions within the accommodation and in the local community, aimed at achieving desired outcomes relating to accommodation, improved financial stability, improved social networks and improved engagement in meaningfulactivities.

In addition, you will work in collaboration with other team members and local agencies to support the wellbeing and safety of our clients.

**About our Specialist Support Worker**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- A relevant qualification, for example in psychology, counselling, social work, mental health, and/or significant experience of working with young people with complex needs.
- Ability to work with children and young people whose behaviour is personally challenging.
- Ability to provide a therapeutic environment which contributes to young people’s health development (including sexual).
- Experience working in partnership with multi agency teams, including social workers and mental health professionals.
