**IBK is currently working with a lovely gentleman who is looking for a PA to help him in his day to day life. This gentleman is in his 50's and has a learning difficulty, he lives independently but needs some support to manage his anxiety and complete practical tasks. The role will include supporting the gentleman to cook and clean his house, make and access appointments, shop for clothes and plan days out. You may also accompany the gentleman on walks to build up his fitness and on occasional day trips. He has identified activities he'd like to do with a PA which include**:
**Swimming**

**Visiting antique shops and markets**

**Steam ralleys**

**Markets**

**He loves different modes of transport and has an impressive collection of model cars and trams.**

**The ideal PA will be calm and chatty, will know how to support the gentleman if he becomes frustrated and will be a good time keeper. The gentleman's anxiety can mean he can become verbally challenging at times and will need time and space to feel calm again. He needs to build up his confidence and trust in new people so patience is a must**

A car driver who is happen to use the gents car and be included on his insurance.

Hours: 5 hours per week to alternate between a Saturday or Sunday one week and a Friday the following week. There is some flexibility in this role for the right person. The ideal hours for the gent would be 8.30am-1.30pm or 9.30am-2.30pm
