We are Camphill Wakefield; a community land-based residential college. Set within our exceptional 34-acre estate, we have a working farm with a range of animals and stables; a large horticulture garden; together with pottery, têxtiles and woodwork workshops within a purpose-built Hub. We provide a range of life skills and employability pathways to meet our 70 SEND students’ needs, including high quality residential accommodation on our campus and an adult social care service.
We are seeking an experienced **Administrator** who can provide support to the Admin Team.
You will be proactive and assertive, with a professional approach and a proven ability to communicate effectively to different members of the team. You will be organised, with the aptitude to prioritise your workload and have a good attention to detail, whilst being able to work well under pressure.
**Key responsibilities**:
- General administrative duties to support the college.
- Maintain records and use information systems to prepare and produce reports.
- Note take for meetings (including EHCP reviews) produce minutes to a high standard and distribute accordingly.
- Provide administrative support to the Education and Care Teams
- Participate in the development of future information systems.
- Always comply with Camphill Wakefield’s policies and procedures.
- Contact the Emergency Services as directed during any emergency.
**Reception support**:
- To support and cover reception, when necessary, namely.
- Provide a professional and efficient reception service, operating the switchboard and welcoming all visitors to the College.
- Take messages with accuracy, ensuring they reach the relevant member of staff or student.
- Ensure all students arrival and departure is documented using Colleges signing in process.
- Ensure all visitors to the College complete the relevant signing-in process.
- Ensure visitors are issued with the relevant lanyard and are escorted around the College, if required, in line with Camphill Wakefield’s safeguarding procedures.
- Sort and distributing all incoming mail daily.
- Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and welcoming to visitors.
