The role

The Proposals Specialist will support commercial activities with existing Clients, develop new business opportunities and grow the Client base. This will include increasing sales revenue and maintaining good rapport with Clients through responding to inquiries, active follow-ups, identifying opportunities, sales visits, gathering and monitoring of market information and preparing sales plans to meet targets. The Proposals specialist will be responsible for the preparation of quotations, tender submissions and Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) documents to clients.

Responsible for the preparation of quotations and co-ordination of tenders and proposals. Completing sales visit report forms and managing Client, prospect and project data in Fugro’s CRM

You will actively participate in the weekly commercial team meeting reviewing the status of all issued proposals, market information, etc. Review of Client and Fugro Terms & Conditions on a tender by tender basis with the assistance of your line manager and colleagues. Conduct technical and contractual negotiations with Clients assisted by your line manager and/or department manager.

Meet and liaise with commercial and sales departments of Clients and other Fugro companies globally, review tender documentation and clarification response. Generate tender proposals and costing spreadsheets to the appropriate Fugro tender / quote report format.
