To Prepare proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Contribute to the operational plan of own department.

As a Proposals Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and reviewing of Tenders, Proposals and Pre-qualification responses, including but not limited to the technical, commercial and contractual aspects of these documents.
- Collating of all documents to be included in the offer, such as pre-qualification, Technical & Operational documentation, QHSE, Pricing, Commercial & Legal exceptions, Certification, Bank Guarantees & Bonds.
- Managing all aspects of bid preparation efforts in accordance with BH PPS rules & ITO processes (from inquiry to handover) and liaise with regional leadership on bid related matters.
- Working with the Sales team to facilitate deal and risk reviews to avoid unknown, un-quantified risks during the bid preparation phases.
- Ensuring all pertinent bid related data for the region is accurately entered into BH’s database in a timely manner.
- Developing a sound understanding of the key ITO processes and systems and contribute to process simplification efforts to reduce cycle time, improve service quality and reduce costs.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a High School Diploma, relevant apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering or commercial discipline
- Have prior experience in analysing, translating & completing complex bids/proposals
- Have prior experience in the O&G Industry - Process and Pipeline Services
- Be proficient in Microsoft packages including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
- Be results orientated, self-driven individual with passion, drive, energy and ability to influence without authority in a multi-disciplinary, matrixed environment
- Be fluent in English and French - speaking and writing
- Additionally being fluent in German is an advantage - speaking and writing
- Be a team player
