The GAP Digital Projects Team are responsible for defining and delivering the overall structure of the groups' IT systems. The team is focused on delivering solutions and improving business efficiency through the use of systems and technologies. The IT Project Manager role is responsible for leading the implementation of key IT projects across the business and will work alongside other Project Managers and Business System Analysts to achieve successful outcomes. The role will report directly to the IT Programme Manager and is based in our Glasgow Head Office

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare project plans, set deadlines and measure progress
- Create project and programme status reports
- RAID Log Management
- Evaluate and recommend changes to systems to meet business needs
- Work with third party vendors to ensure projects delivered on time and to budget
- Forge strong business relationships
- Communicate effectively and clearly with all areas of the business
- Provide guidance to management as well as internal and external stakeholders on project status
- Ensure strict project governance and that milestones are successfully met
- Identification and management of programme and project dependencies
- Critical path management and reporting
- Experience- minimum 5 years in successfully implementing significant business improvement projects
- APM / Prince 2 / MSP qualification or equivalent preferred
- Experience in Lean- Agile programme / project delivery
- Systematic and thorough approach to project management
- ERP implementation/upgrade experience an advantage but not essential
- Expertly manage projects and business wide te
- Experience in managing business requirements along with technical design and implementation
- Educated to degree level in a related discipline is desirable
- Demostrable leadershp skills with the ability to plan and juggle mutiple tasks
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience in working across a variety of business improvement projects
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Team-plyer with a flexible approach
