Sales & Purchasing Support Officer

Response Personnel are currently recruiting for a Sales & Purchasing Support Officer for our client based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.

**Salary**: £25,000 per annum

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the successful and efficient operations of the company’s Purchasing department, including raw materials, trade goods and production supplies.
- Assist with the Accounts department to chase up on outstanding invoices, liaise with debtors/creditors and provide administrative support where necessary.
- Work closely with the Sales team, by speaking with existing clients to provide excellent levels of customer service and support.
- Undertake general office duties: call handling, archiving, post, copying, consumables ordering
- Be a port of contact for all client/supplier queries and enquiries, assisting with all aspects of the business.
- Assist with the continuous recording, updating and maintenance of company data, systems, and records
- Be able to provide assistance with other aspects of the business where necessary e.g. Marketing dept.

Experience:

- Previous experience within a Purchasing field is essential
- Previous experience within in an engineering background is desirable but not essential
